May 30, 2016 // Goodbye for now (kind of)

Well I recently just moved back home for the summer & then moved again to another city in the matter of 3 days.

Yes.. 3 DAYS OF PACKING, CLEANING, UNPACKING, AND UHAUL TRUCK DRIVING.

I'm kind of glad that we moved cities since I was done with the city that I lived throughout my elementary, middle, and high school days.

Just like Beyonce states in her song "Sorry",

 "BOY, BYE".

I mean it was cool living in LH! Growing up in a city where everyone knew about each other yet were clueless about the person as well???

If that makes any sense???????

Basically you knew most of the people but probably didn't know much about them, a 'word of mouth' type of thing.

There was also nothing really special about LH, at least to have late night excursions with ya pals.

Although same goes for the city I reside in now, it's basically LH but 10x bigger.
No 'hip' places to have excursions to :((((((((

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Win, Win? or Loss, Loss??

Honestly I think I need to start getting on the work grind !!
Maybe I wont be as bored as I am rn?????

or

I need to do the projects I've been telling myself that I would do!!!!!

GGEEEEEZZZZ LOUISSSEEEEEEE

May 23, 2016 // "End Of An Era"

2 days.

2 hours.

43 minutes.

The time I have left until I move out from the dorm where I lived in for the past school year.

The time I have until I don't see the friends/acquaintances that have been in my life for the past school year until next school year (or maybe even never).

The time I have until I can devour food at the famous "Shitty Eats" and be contaminated by the greasy smell for the remainder of the day.

The time I have to remember life events in detail that I have gone through this past year:

(in no particular order)

-first (ACTUAL) job
- spontaneous tattoo & piercing trips
- long distance relationship
- 2nd heart break
- kick back
- "Freaky Fridays"
- protest (Ayotzinapa)
- rap/R&B show
- (various) trips to a car repair shop due to careless driving
- family fights via cellphone
- mosquito bites on my face
- late night trips to the middle of no where
- vomiting in an Uber
- tourist stalkers

I want to thank everyone that were a part of my first year in college (cheesy I know) but i'm feeling very 'emo' right now and reflecting on this past year.

One thing however that I do regret is meeting people just recently towards the end of the year and taking action on my actual interests ("booming project", & picking up on photography).

Every individual has regrets even if they deny them, we push ourselves when we realize that we can do something which in most cases is pretty late in our lives.

I decided to make a playlist as well to kind of describe how my first year went as well. I love to make playlists so I took the advantage of doing so.

April 21, 2016 // "booming" project

      I HAVE NEWS !

I am getting a head start on my summer project that I had mentioned before in my previous blog post.

The project, as I said before, consists of taking photos/videos of bands or individuals that are trying to pursue a career in the music industry.

It's a great way to demonstrate "underground" music artists that haven't been recognized by the majority of the population.
Also I like to attend shows sooooooo its a plus plus on both sides.

The reason i'm saying that "I am getting a head start on it" is because i'm attending one of my friends, friends r&b/rap show soon.

Did you catch that?

I have a friend that has a friend who essentially produces rap/r&b music.

Now you got it right?

Therefore i'm going to have my first post on my "booming" tab within my blog really soon!?!

FYI

I decided to name this whole project "booming" for a couple of reasons :

1. My favorite song by the band, Twin Peaks is named "Boomers" & I really wanted it to be implemented in the project some way, shape, or form (like it is will all my social media now lol).

2. Booming is basically an anticipation that the individual/individuals will reach their full potential in being successful, they will be "booming" within the people.

3. It sounds fucking legit.

¡¡Hasta Luego!!

April 14, 2016 // prime work

A collection of photos taken on Embarcadero on my way to work.

April 1, 2015 // Plans

                             I'm having a crisis.

Yes, you heard me.

A crisis with what I want to do for my future, which i'm 100% positive every college student (or anyone) goes through.

Honestly i've been thinking about it for days & i've been stressed to the point where I wake up at 5am just to do tedious work (painful).

The funny thing is I didn't realize how much pressure from other individuals we have .. I mean just like my co-worker Santino told me earlier today in our engineering class, "We only have one life so if you screw it up, you can't go back".

He was telling me in the context of sticking with our engineering majors, I mean we both were very enthusiastic about the work within the majors at first. However it seemed as more classes we attended, the more we dreaded the idea of going to work in the near future.

Of course we have family and maybe even friends that pressure us to choose a certain life pathway (in my case, major) that it becomes a task to do rather than a suggestion or choice.

It sucks!

This is just a ramble of thoughts i've had for the past of couple of days.

BUT

I really want to make a small list of plans that I want to start doing over the course of the next couple of months (more so summer time).

  1. Start doing more photo-shoots
  2. Start creating short films
  3. *~*~* Interview bands*~*~* (Video, Pictures, etc)

I inserted these different pictures I have taken within the past year since I REALLLY REALLYYYY DO WANT TO DO MORE PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

¡¡Hasta Luego!!

March 10, 2016 // Work & School

Life is shit.

It seems to be the case currently with school and work on my hands now.

My current schedule is school everyday from 9am to 2pm,and work every other day from 4pm to 11/12pm. Of course I try to fit in naps and exercise in between the chaotic disorder of me trying to get my crap together.

By crap together, I mean getting all my school work on time and prepping some half-assed meals.

I still find myself however lacking in certain areas of interest I enjoy, blogging and creating videos.

At times, it really upsets me that I can't do things like I used to or hang out with my friends as often.

I feel lonely at times.

The other day as I was making my way to work on the sloppy freeway to Embarcadero, I began to feel a heavy feeling of sadness on my chest. Tears began to roll down my cheek, and my lips were quivering. My vision was blurry, the road seem to look like the rainbow road in Mario Carts, bright colors with no harsh edges.

In reality, the colors of the freeway were dull and far from appealing. I was fooling myself mentally that everything was some awesome trip off of acid or any other hallucinogenics.

Later on that day, I realized ... I was indeed tired of everything?????

This realization encouraged me to start working on the hobbies I let go, stop whimpering over the fact I don't have time to do things like I used to because in reality, you need to suck shit up and do what you have to do.

Crying over something won't help the fact, you still need to complete a certain task.

Crying is simply a temporary emotional release to chill the fuck out.

I composed a small video of clips that I had previously recorded throughout my stay here in San Francisco.

I also have been doing photo shoots for my good friend Zoey's blog!!!!!
She is gorgeous & honestly without her asking me to do pictures, I wouldn't be here writing a blog post.
