March 25, 2015 // A New Beginning!

Hello Lovelies!!

I am oh so excited to say that I feel content with my life! Yes!! Although certain obstacles during this Spring Break have led me to sadness. It's really the future that i'm excited for .... HECK YEAH.

Anyways yesterday was a life changing moment.. I got rejected by more schools, and I got closure (FINALLY IT LIFTED A BOULDER OFF MY SHOULDER)

The main thing however that happened yesterday was that my best friend and I talked so many things through! We spent the whole first half of the day together and then later on we "hanged" with my other friend Ariel!

Our day consisted of Antique shops, gardens, and DAPHNES GREEK FOOD.




I would really go more in detail on this post but i'm soooo tired and I have to start doing homework.. yes I have homework over break.

Hello wonderful people of the world!!

Today I just wanted to talk about cat calling. Yes cat calling.
I've had an issue with it in the past but I have discovered again how irritating and disgusting it is today.
Anyways today I decided to go on an adventure by going to various parks on my scooter.

I went to a few parks that had different distinguishing features about them. One of them had this amazing graffiti art on it, another had these amazing looking tress. 

It's just so interesting how parks can be so undistinguishable to many when in reality there is differences. Anyways these parks are semi far from each other so as i was "scooting" or "scootering" (yes i know these aren't real words). I came across men who were looking at me in a weird way. I didn't really care about how they were staring at me because I could just block them out of sight but some directed comments at me. 

Many can argue "oh they are just trying to be nice" or "men are just men" when in reality it's really about how the person who receives these comments feel. I did not feel comfortable.

Therefore personally i'm against cat calling because it feels uncomfortable to hear comments that you don't really want to hear when you are trying to go somewhere.
